周二，爱国热情高涨的温莎市民沿着市中心主干道排起长队，参加加拿大日游行活动。这是该地区庆祝"伟大北方"的系列活动之一。
数千名身着红白两色服饰的居民挥舞着枫叶旗，在韦莱特大道(Ouellette Avenue)两旁为经过的花车欢呼喝彩。在特朗普总统多次威胁加拿大主权的这一年里，这座边境城市以这种方式展现了加拿大人精神。
今年游行主题为"强大而自由的北方"。游行路线从吉尔斯大道(Giles Boulevard)延伸至皮特街(Pitt Street)，现场不仅有来自美国威斯康星州的湖畔路德乐队(Lakeside Lutheran Band)等八支乐队助阵，还展示了巨型充气玩偶等特色元素。本次活动由温莎游行公司(Windsor Parade Corporation)与温莎市中心商业促进协会(Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association)联合举办。
游行开始前一小时，加拿大158岁生日庆祝活动已在韦莱特大道与东大学大道(University Avenue East)交界处的球迷区(The Fan Zone)拉开帷幕。市民们在此享用提姆霍顿甜甜圈球(Timbits)，体验面部彩绘，观看魔术小丑Jangles的气球表演，还能光顾各类商贩摊位。
"我太喜欢眼前这片红白相间的海洋了，还有那些挥舞国旗的孩子们，"温莎市民珍·博斯科夫斯基说，"这太有趣了。今天能在这里见证大家的欢乐时光，共同庆祝加拿大日，真是太棒了。"
阿默斯特堡(Amherstburg)以持续全天的庆祝活动纪念国庆，从加拿大日跑步/步行/轮椅活动开始，以烟花表演压轴。而拉萨尔(LaSalle)则在环路(The Loop)和拉萨尔兰丁活动中心(LaSalle Landing Event Centre)安排了街头艺人表演、现场音乐会和无人机表演。特库姆塞(Tecumseh)则举办"后院派对"，在三座公园同步开展庆祝活动。
埃塞克斯(Essex)的哈罗扶轮社(Harrow Rotary Club)筹办了适合家庭参与的活动，包含美食摊位、本地商户展销、现场音乐表演及互动游戏。金斯维尔(Kingsville)、利明顿(Leamington)和湖滨市(Lakeshore)也都推出了适合全家参与的娱乐项目，三地均以璀璨烟花为庆典画上句点。
